Registered Teacher Applicants

Conditions of Registration:

The following are the minimum requirements for Registered Teacher status of the Speech Communication Association (NZ) Inc:

1. A completed Licentiate Teaching Diploma awarded by Speech New Zealand, Trinity Guildhall or such other qualifications from recognized institutions as considered appropriate by Council.
2. The completion of a minimum of two years practical teaching experience.
   • Teaching experience may include community, vocational or training programmes in communication skills, debating teams in schools, the organization and teaching of drama to student groups in schools, drama clubs, private studio teaching or related tea ching activities.

Qualifications:

Attach certified photo copies of relevant qualifications and any additional Degree/ Diploma Certificates you wish recorded in the Register of Teachers.
