The mentoring program was established in 2003 with the primary purpose of enabling members to contact other members who have experience in one or more fields of communication. We all have experience and knowledge in our chosen field, but others who specialise are able to give sound advice and can often warn others of pitfalls to avoid.
The mentoring programme has proven to be successful particularly in the area of establishment of new oral communication programmes in schools and general syllabus queries relating to both examining bodies.
Considering starting up a private studio and need assistance? We can put you in touch with the right people.
The aspects covered are: Public Speaking; Speech & Drama; Musical Theatre; Oral Assessment Programme; Theatre in Action; Choral Speaking; Vocational Speaking; Diploma queries; Theatre Direction; Voice (specialists available); Radio & Broadcasting and Corporate Training.
If you have any questions at all relating to any field, our administrator will be able to find the right person for you to contact.
If you know your advice could benefit others in specific areas, please contact the office@speechcomm.org.nz
