Meredith Caisley Award - Recipient for 2009, Donna McKinlay Jones, Hawkes Bay
This award was presented to the Association by Meredith Caisley at the 1990 AGM upon her retirement as President.
This trophy is to be awarded at each annual SCA conference. Chosen by Council, the recipient should be an individual Registered Teacher outstanding at promoting SCA to the wider public in that particular year. No person shall receive the trophy a second time. It is Council's responsibility to receive the trophy each year ready to give to the next recipient. At no stage is it to be awarded to a Branch. The recipient need not be in attendance at Conference when the award is made.
The winner of this award holds, for one year, an original trophy in the shape of Shakespeare's house.
