The picture created by Julie McRae, a Northland B-lingual (Speech and Sign) Artist was donated by Claire Marsh on her retirement from Council 29 July 1997. This award is to be presented during the SCA Annual General Meeting each year. The purpose is to recognise and encourage the skills of recent SCA members.

This award was presented to the Association by Meredith Caisley at the 1990 AGM upon her retirement as President.

This fund is to assist members with projects that will extend an appreciation in any aspect of the spoken communication arts.

THE DEIRDRE SNEDDEN TRUST was set up to establish a fund to provide a scholarship or scholarships to assist in sending students/teachers overseas to further their education in the teaching of voice, speech communication and/or drama. Applications are welcome from all members of more than 12 months for the purpose of further education or study.  Long term and short term study opportunities are all considered.  The trust can cover all (or part) costs including airfares, study fees and accommodation.
